Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you enjoy the information I have to share.

I have been a model railroader on and off for the past 35 years, mainly in N scale. My interest in the hobby stems from a long family history of railroading as well as growing up and hanging out at Dominion Atlantic Railway's Kentville Yard and shops.

My Grandfather was a conductor on the D.A.R. and my Father managed a lumber treatment plant in the early 1960's which had it's own short line. My Dad was also an avid model railroader during my younger years.

The above switcher is one of two, which are owned and operated by Newfoundland Hardwoods Plant located in Clarenville, Newfoundland. My Dad purchased these locomotives used in the early 1960's when he was the Plant Manager. Forty-three years later I am standing on the same bumper as I did when I was just a baby.

I currently live in Cambridge, Nova Scotia near Kentville with my wife Tammy and my new Son Daniel.
